    Abstract: 雷射白光照明(Laser white light illumination)技術是利用藍光半導體雷射( Laser Diode, LD)激發黃色螢光材料,形成白光。雷射白光照明技術中所使用的藍光半導體雷射具有良好準直性,光束能量強、光束集中及不易發散,因此具有更長的照射距離及更集中的光束。但當藍光半導體雷射長時間打在螢光材料上,往往能量過於集中在同一點,會使螢光膜片在該點的溫度極高,而破壞該螢光膜片上的螢光材料。所以對於雷射照明,藍光半導體雷射與螢光材料之間的熱特性將會極為重要。
    本研究希望利用環型遠端螢光粉結構來開發雷射白光照明技術,此結構能將藍光半導體雷射所發出的藍光,藉由矽膠與空氣的介面,產生全內反射,而打在環型遠端螢光粉結構外層的螢光膠材料上,而形成白光。當環型遠端螢光粉結構完成時,將利用配光曲線儀及積分球等光學量測設備,評估雷射白光照明系統之環型遠程螢光粉的光學特性。
