    Title: 遞迴式建構網路的局部偵測診斷

    Abstract: 在多處理器系統 (multi-processor systems) 或大型網路 (largenetworks)中,部分的處理器(或稱作節點(nodes))故障可能會導致系統的癱瘓,因此,如何偵測診斷(diagnose)出故障的處理器以維持系統的正常運作就顯得重要了。本計畫延續了去年計畫的成果,我們採用知名的比較偵測診斷模組(comparison diagnosis model),又稱為 MM偵測診斷模組(MM diagnosis model),我們針對交叉立方體(crossed cube)、梅氏立方體(möbius cube)、與遞迴環形圖(recursive circulantgraph),探討其局部偵測診斷(local diagnosability)性質,藉由判定網路之可局部偵測診斷的充分條件:節點 v 的延伸樹(extended tree) ET(v,t),我們討論了交叉立方體、梅氏立方體、與遞迴環形圖的局部偵測診斷能力。我們所提出的演算法判定網路單一節點是否故障只需O(log N)的時間內(N 為網路總節點數),可大幅節省偵測診斷的時間與硬體資源。具有局部偵測診斷能力的網路,也可延伸帶來許多的益處,例如有助於提升局部網路的復原能力(resilience) 、連通度(connectivity)、平行繞徑(parallel routing)、與減少電力消耗(energy consumption)等。
